How does sanctification become a reality?—Dr. Baxter describes the process: “As heart and mind become filled with love, all the motives become pure; and when all the motives are pure, that is blamelessness; and such moral blamelessness is true holiness.”
But he warns “self-yielding to Christ must continue day by day, and hour by hour, and even minute by minute”.
It is the splendid accomplishment of this volume to complete the studies in personal sanctification begun in the companion volumes A New Call To Holiness and His Deeper Work In Us.
