The present edition of the Summa was translated into English by the Fathers of the Dominican Province and first appeared in 1911. A revised edition was published in London in 1920 and the first American edition was issued by Benziger Brothers in New York in 1947. The five-volume printing now offered is a reproduction of that famous Benziger edition. The work is easy to consult and convenient to handle.
