From the very day that these sermons were placed in my hands, I have had a burning desire in my heart that the book could be placed in the hands of every preacher in the world. I have majored in preaching for fifty- six years; but sometimes when I have finished my message, I have asked myself the question, “Did I make it clear?” That question need never be asked about these twenty- five great gospel sermons. I would pray that thousands of unsaved people would read this book because surely they would have the clearest presentation of the Gospel that they have ever confronted.
However, my special burden concerning Salvation Crystal Clear is that preachers have this book. I speak as a preacher when
I say that few preachers make the matter of being saved crystal clear. Many of God’s dear men who believe the Bible and believe the Gospel could receive more help from this book in preaching so as to get people saved. Some old-time preacher has said that many sermons are like a ship without a gangplank. The ship is large and beautiful, but there is no place to get on. Oh, for the ability to preach so clearly that sinners would understand how to get on board—that is, get saved.
Salvation Crystal Clear is a delight to my soul. Honestly, I must say I have never read anything to compare with it in making the Gospel clear and understandable. I have often said that Dr. Curtis Hutson could give the clearest and most effective invitations of any man I have ever heard. It may be because he has the ability to make the Gospel so clear in his preaching.
Surely the anointing of God must have been on this preacher when these sermons came from God to his heart and soul. If there is one group of sermons ever printed that you ought to read, it is this group of sermons. They present the Gospel as an invitation to be saved.
Salvation Crystal Clear warms my heart and brings praise from my soul more than any other gospel sermons I have ever read. This book is about the thing God is most interested in—getting people saved!
The book of sermons is truly a masterpiece.
May I suggest that you:
1. Get a copy for your pastor. He will be helped and blessed and will thank you.
2. Send a copy to a missionary. He will be greatly helped in getting people saved on the mission field.
3. Send a copy to an unsaved friend or loved one. It could really be the means of his getting saved.
4. Send a copy to a Bible school student. It will help him in getting grounded in the Gospel.
